Who Wins
- You win pre-6 trades consistently due to superior base stats and sustain from passive, with level 1-2 being particularly strong before Yasuo gets Q3 tornado.
- Post-6 you still win extended trades but must respect Yasuo's R burst potential when you're low on health.
How to Trade
- Look for short trades with Q auto-reset into W when Yasuo uses E aggressively, then disengage before he can stack Q on you.
- Extended trades favor you due to passive sustain and higher base damage, so commit fully when Yasuo has no minions to dash through.
Wave Control
- Push early levels to establish priority and deny Yasuo minions for mobility, but be prepared to freeze when ahead since Yasuo struggles to break freezes safely.
- Avoid slow pushing mid-game as this gives Yasuo optimal minion positioning for trades.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't use E predictively as good Yasuos will dash away, instead save it for when he's committed to a trade or has limited escape routes.
- Never fight in large minion waves where Yasuo can freely dash and stack Q, as this negates your stat advantage completely.
