Who Wins
- You dominate pre-6 through superior base stats, Q auto-resets, and passive regeneration, easily winning any extended trade or all-in attempt.
- Post-6 the matchup becomes more skill-dependent as Vladimir gains burst potential and safety with R-W, but you still maintain kill pressure if you can land E-R combos.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern involves using Q for the movement speed to gap-close, then auto-Q-auto while he's in range, following up with E if he tries to disengage.
- Save W for when he uses his abilities on you, as the shield and true damage will win the trade decisively.
Wave Control
- You want to maintain the wave in the center or slightly pushing toward him to have space for extended trades and all-ins.
- Avoid hard shoving as Vladimir's Q sustain allows him to farm safely under tower, and you lose your kill pressure when he's near his tower.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't waste E on minions or use it predictably as it's your only gap-closer and Vladimir can easily kite you without it.
- Avoid using W too early in trades as Vladimir can pool to avoid the true damage, and don't chase him through minion waves where he can Q heal off them while you take minion damage.
