Who Wins
- You win levels 1-3 through superior base stats and Q auto-reset, but must land E to secure kills since Vayne can Q away from extended trades.
- At level 6, you still win if you land E into R combo, but Vayne's R gives her enough mobility and stealth to potentially outplay your engage.
How to Trade
- Your optimal trading pattern is E pull into auto-Q-auto combo, then immediately W to absorb her return damage and deal true damage.
- You must commit fully to trades since short trades favor Vayne's poke pattern, and always save Q movement speed to chase through her Q tumbles.
Wave Control
- Push early waves hard with Q and autos to establish level advantage and deny her CS under tower.
- Once she hits 6, maintain slow pushes to create long lanes where you can run her down, but avoid freezing since it gives her safe farm and scaling time.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Never chase Vayne through unwarded areas where she can use terrain and R stealth to kite you indefinitely.
- Don't waste E on minions or use it predictably, as missing your only gap closer means she gets 12+ seconds of free harass and zone control.
