Who Wins

  • You win most 1v1s pre-6 through superior sustain and raw damage, especially after level 2 when you have Q+E for gap closing.
  • Post-6 you maintain the advantage as your R provides better all-in potential than Shen's defensive R.

How to Trade

  • Look for short trades using Q auto-reset into W shield, then disengage before Shen can extend with his Q empowered autos.
  • When Shen wastes W, commit to longer trades as you'll out-sustain him through your passive and win extended fights.

Wave Control

  • Push early levels to establish priority, then maintain a slow push to build up minions for stronger all-ins.
  • Avoid hard shoving unless you can recall, as Shen's W can neutralize your damage if he freezes near his tower.

Mistakes to Avoid
