Who Wins
- You win pre-6 through superior base stats and Q auto-reset trades, especially at level 1-2 before Jax gets his full combo.
- Post-6 becomes skill-dependent as Jax's R gives him significant dueling power, but you can still win if you land W properly and avoid extended trades during his R.
How to Trade
- Look for short Q-auto-E trades when Jax uses Q aggressively, then disengage before he can proc his passive stacks.
- Your optimal all-in is Q-auto-W (charged)-E-auto, timing your W to absorb his burst and stunning him during his Counter Strike.
Wave Control
- Push early levels to establish priority and deny Jax farm, but transition to freezing once he gets stronger around level 6.
- You want to create long lanes for all-ins where your superior early game can secure kills before he scales.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't get baited into extended trades when Jax has his passive stacked up, as his attack speed will overwhelm you.
- Avoid using W reactively to his E - instead, charge it during trades and use it to turn fights when he commits with Q.
