Who Wins
- You win all 1v1s levels 1-3 through Q auto resets and W true damage, especially if you build grit first.
- At level 6 the matchup shifts as Illaoi's R creates unfavorable teamfight scenarios and her sustain becomes harder to overcome.
How to Trade
- Your best trading is engaging when Illaoi uses E on minions or misses it on you, then using Q to gap close and W at high grit.
- Always look to extend trades as your sustained damage and true damage outscale her Q poke in longer fights.
Wave Control
- Maintain freezes near your tower where Illaoi cannot safely use E, forcing her to either overextend or lose CS.
- Her Q waveclear advantage means you need jungle help to break freezes, but frozen lanes heavily favor your all-in potential.
