Who Wins
- You win levels 1-3 through superior trading with Q auto-reset and W shield, but Garen's Q silence can disrupt your combos.
- At level 6, Garen gains the advantage as his R execute damage often outweighs your W true damage in all-ins.
How to Trade
- Your optimal trade is Q into auto-attack, then immediately W to absorb Garen's retaliation damage and deal true damage back.
- Always look to E him into walls or minions after he uses Q, as this maximizes your damage while he's silenced from his own ability.
Wave Control
- Push early waves to establish level advantage, then maintain a slow push to build large minion waves for E wall-stuns.
- Avoid hard shoving after level 6 unless you have jungle pressure, as Garen's sustain and gank setup with Q becomes problematic.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Never use W reactively after taking poke damage, as Garen can simply walk away and wait for cooldowns.
