Who Wins
- Skill matchup at all stages where trading patterns decide the lane; you win short trades with W start and proper stack management, but lose extended fights if Darius stacks passive.
- Post-6 favors you in all-ins if you land E stun into guaranteed W true damage or buffer W during his R animation.
How to Trade
- Level 1-2: Start W and trade with autos, backing off at 3-4 Darius stacks to deny his passive proc and heal advantage.
- Post-3: Use E to dodge his Q outer ring, then chain E stun into W for guaranteed true damage, or buffer W during his R animation to prevent dodging.
Wave Control
- You want to keep the wave in the center or slightly pushed toward him to have room for E engages.
- Avoid letting him freeze near his tower as you'll be forced to take unfavorable trades for CS.
Mistakes to Avoid
- You cannot afford to take extended poke without trading back, as his Q outer ring will chunk you down over time.
- Don't waste your E when he has flash up, as good Darius players will flash out of your combo range.
