LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6 you win this lane clearly — your range advantage, frequent W shield uptime, and E root threat keep Fizz from safely engaging, and at level 3 your full Q-E-W combo can chunk him heavily if he overextends.
- Post-6 the matchup becomes genuinely dangerous because his R removes your ability to disengage and your lack of mobility means one successful all-in from him is likely lethal.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to poke with Q from max range, use your E to zone him away from minions or punish any Q approach, and refresh your W shield proactively before he can burst through it; never let him get inside your E range without the threat of your root being available, as that is your primary tool to prevent his all-in from succeeding.
Wave Control
- You want to control the wave by slow-pushing with your Q and passive note procs to build a large wave, then freeze or crash it near your tower to deny him safe roam windows and force him to farm under pressure; a frozen wave near your side also means any all-in attempt from him happens close to your tower where you can potentially survive or get tower assistance.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use your E aggressively or carelessly as a poke tool — if it misses or is on cooldown when Fizz decides to all-in, you have no way to stop his engage and his E untargetability will dodge any delayed E you attempt to throw; treat your E as a defensive interrupt tool first, and only use it offensively when you are certain he cannot immediately punish the cooldown.
