Who Wins

  • Pre-6, you win the poke war against Ezreal due to your superior range and the fact that your Q heals your ally simultaneously, making chip damage more efficient than his; however, Shaco's level 2 spike is your primary win condition early, as his E onto Ezreal combined with your Q root can secure a kill before Bard can react.
  • Post-6, Ezreal's R and Bard's R introduce significant disengage and pick potential, so you no longer freely win 2v2 and must play around vision control and Shaco's deception.

Synergy & Trading

  • Your best pattern is to Q-poke Ezreal from outside his Q range, forcing him to either take free damage or waste his E to dodge, then root him with Q when Shaco is in position to follow up with E; avoid trading when Bard has his Q stun available, as a stunned Shaco is a dead Shaco in a 2v2.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • Let the wave slow-push toward your tower when possible to deny Bard roam timings — if Bard leaves and the wave is crashing, Ezreal is vulnerable and you can look for a kill with Shaco; do not hard-shove the wave, as it gives Bard free roam windows and removes your ability to punish Ezreal's positioning.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not stand in predictable positions that let Bard land a two-chime Q stun on both you and Shaco simultaneously — Bard's Q hitting both of you in a 2v2 is almost always a lost fight, and you must spread positioning to avoid this.
