Who Wins
- Pre-6 you and MF have the edge because your Q poke outranges Karma's Q and Jhin's reload windows are exploitable with sustained harass — post-6 the matchup tightens because Karma's R-Q into Jhin's R is a one-rotation kill threat, but your W root and MF's R create a counter-engage that can punish their all-in if they overextend.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best pattern is to Q Jhin or Karma whenever they step up to last-hit, then immediately back off before Karma can retaliate with her own Q — this asymmetric poke accumulates a health lead without giving Karma a clean target to E-shield into, and once they're at 60% health MF can walk up for the kill combo.
Wave Control/Roaming
- You should not roam aggressively because your value is in soul stacking and keeping MF safe — however, if you shove the wave and Karma has already used her R, a quick roam to mid at level 6 with your R is viable since your global R provides map pressure without fully abandoning MF.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use your W root on cooldown as a poke tool — your W is your primary peel for MF against Jhin's W and Karma's R-Q all-in, and burning it for chip damage leaves MF exposed to the exact burst combo that kills her before you can react.
