LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Scuttle Contest
- At level 3, you lose the scuttle fight against Sylas because his E dash and W sustain let him trade efficiently while your Q is your only reliable engage tool and his burst outpaces your damage before you have stacks on W.
- From level 6, you can win a 1v1 only if you land Q to close the gap, immediately proc W frost stacks, and use R to interrupt his E repositioning — if he gets to freely kite and heal with W, you will lose the extended fight.
Predicted Jungle Path
- Sylas most commonly runs a full clear starting Red side (Red > Krugs > Raptors > Wolves > Blue > Gromp) or a mirror path depending on matchup, then looks to gank mid or bot early since his E mobility makes him a strong ganker in lanes with crowd control setup.
- Expect him to contest scuttle around 3:15–3:30 after his first clear.
Invade or Not
- You should not invade Sylas early because his W sustain and E mobility make him extremely difficult to kill in his own jungle where he has terrain to dash around, and you lack the burst to punish him before he heals back.
- If you want to apply pressure, wait until after level 6 when your R gives you a hard lockdown tool, and look to counter-gank rather than invade directly.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not try to fight Sylas in an open area without landing Q first — walking up to auto him without a freeze proc is a losing trade because his E lets him reposition instantly and his W heals off your health pool.
- Avoid extended fights where he can cycle his abilities freely; your win condition is a hard engage with R into immediate W burst, not a prolonged skirmish.
