- You lose scuttle fights at level 3 due to Nocturne's superior damage output and Q movement speed buff allowing him to kite your engage.
- From level 6, you only win 1v1s if you land E stun first and he doesn't have spell shield (W) available to block it.
Predicted Jungle Path
- Nocturne typically starts bot side for leash, clears to top side, then looks for level 3 gank or scuttle contest.
- He often paths aggressively toward your jungle after first clear since he wins early duels.
Invade or Not
- Avoid invading Nocturne early as he wins most 1v1 encounters pre-6 and can chase you down with Q.
- Your best invasion opportunity is immediately after he uses R for a gank, giving you a window to steal camps while he's committed elsewhere.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't waste your E stun on minions or use it predictably, as Nocturne's W spell shield completely negates your primary engage tool.
- Avoid fighting him in jungle corridors where he can easily land Q and chase you down with the movement speed buff.
