Who Wins

  • You dominate early trades pre-6 with your superior burst damage and mobility, but must end fights quickly before his sustain kicks in.
  • Post-6, you lose extended all-ins against his R unless you can burst him down with a full combo before he heals back up.

How to Trade

  • Your optimal trading pattern is Q poke into E engage for a quick combo, then immediately disengage before he can retaliate with sustained damage.
  • Use your W to block his Q poke and look for opportunities to stack your passive on minions before engaging for maximum burst potential.

Wave Control

  • Freeze the wave near your tower early to deny him farm and force him to overextend for CS, where you can punish with short trades.
  • Avoid pushing into him as he can easily farm with Q under tower and will outscale you in extended laning phases.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Don't take extended trades or all-ins after level 6 unless you have a significant health advantage, as his R sustain will outlast your damage.
  • Avoid fighting in open areas where he can land multiple Qs, and never waste your W defensively when you could use it to block his Q during your engage windows.
