Who Wins
- You win most trades pre-6 with E-Q combo and ability to root him with E-W when he stacks Q3, preventing his engage before he can reach you.
- Post-6 becomes more dangerous as his R bypasses your spacing, but you still win if you land E-W root before he commits and respect his W shield that blocks significant damage.
How to Trade
- Land E when he walks up to wave to stack Qs, then root with W once he has Q3 ready to prevent his engage - this negates his all-in threat window.
- Be aware of his W shield availability - if it's up, it blocks most of your burst and turns winning trades into losing ones, so wait for it to be down before committing damage.
Wave Control
- Keep wave frozen on your side to deny him trading space and limit his Q3 knock-up range - shorter lane makes his engage much harder to execute.
- Avoid pushing into him as his Q3 knock-up provides extremely strong gank setup with junglers, and extended lane gives him more room to chase with E or R.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Never trade when his W shield is available, as it absorbs most of your combo damage and lets him turn the fight with sustained DPS and lifesteal.
- Avoid face-checking bushes or overextending without vision, as his E-R combo can catch you from unexpected angles and you lack mobility tools to escape once caught.
