Who Wins
- You can win short trades pre-6 by using your range advantage and EQ combos to poke while staying outside his E range.
- Post-6 becomes much harder as his R removes your main advantage of mobility and range, forcing you into a stat-check fight you typically lose.
How to Trade
- Focus on EQ poke when he goes for CS, then immediately back away before he can land E and activate his passive.
- If he does land E, use your movement from passive procs to kite backwards while continuing to cast spells rather than trying to face-tank his damage aura.
Wave Control
- Maintain distance and freeze waves near your tower when possible, forcing him to overextend for CS where you can poke safely.
- Avoid hard shoving unless you have jungle pressure, as extended trades in minion waves heavily favor his passive damage.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't get caught in extended trades where his passive can fully stack and his W shield absorbs your burst.
- Avoid staying in lane with low HP post-6, as his R guarantees a kill if he can land it when you can't survive the isolated 1v1.
