Who Wins
- You win pre-6 trades if you can gap close successfully, as Viktor lacks escape tools and your full combo outdamages his Q shield.
- Post-6 becomes much harder as his R creates a persistent zone that punishes your all-in attempts and forces you to disengage or take massive damage.
How to Trade
- Look for short Q3-W-AA trades when Viktor uses Q on minions, then immediately disengage before he can retaliate with E.
- Avoid extended trades in his minion wave as his E will hit you through creeps and his Q shield absorbs significant damage.
Wave Control
- Push early levels to deny his Hex Fragment farming, but be prepared to give up CS once he gets his first augment around level 7-9.
- After his E augment, focus on roaming since he'll clear waves instantly and you can't match his waveclear.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't commit to all-ins after level 6 unless you can guarantee a kill, as his R will follow you even through your mobility spells.
- Avoid fighting in his W gravity field as the stun will guarantee he lands full combo and potentially kills you.
