  • You lose most 1v1s pre-6 due to Poppy's W blocking your E engage and her superior base damages with Q poke.
  • Post-6 you can win all-ins if you avoid walls, but Poppy still has kill threat with her R knockback into wall stuns.

How to Trade

  • Your best trades involve using Q1-Q2 to gap close without E, then E-W-Q3 when Poppy uses W or it's on cooldown.
  • Always disengage immediately after your combo since extended trades favor her passive shield and Q damage.

Wave Control

  • Push early levels to hit 6 first, then look for slow pushes into dives or roams since you can't reliably kill her in lane.
  • Avoid freezing as Poppy can zone you from CS with Q poke and W threat.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Never E directly into Poppy when her W is available as it will cancel your dash and leave you in melee range for free.
