Who Wins
- You win levels 1-3 through superior burst trading with Q-W combos while Irelia lacks stacks and sustain.
- At level 6, Irelia becomes significantly stronger due to her R providing massive damage, healing, and the ability to stack passive quickly in extended fights.
How to Trade
- Your optimal trading pattern is short Q-W-AA-E out trades when Irelia has low passive stacks or is low on mana.
- Avoid extended trades when she has 4-5 stacks as her sustained damage and healing will overwhelm your burst potential.
Wave Control
- Push early levels to establish priority and deny Irelia easy last-hitting, then look to freeze near your tower once she hits level 4-5.
- This forces her to overextend for CS while preventing her from building large minion waves to stack her passive safely.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Never fight Irelia in large minion waves where she can easily Q reset through minions to stack passive and chase you down.
- Getting hit by her E stun while she has high stacks will result in death as you cannot escape her Q resets.
