Who Wins
- You lose early trades pre-6 due to Heimerdinger's turret zone control and poke damage, but you gain kill pressure post-6 when your R gives you the burst and mobility to all-in through his turret setup.
- Level 3 is your first meaningful spike when you get your full Q-W-E combo, but it's still not enough to overcome his turret advantage.
How to Trade
- You need to use your E to engage through minions and turrets, then immediately Q-W-AA-Q-Q combo to burst him down before his turrets can retaliate effectively.
- Never try to trade in extended fights near his turret setup - your goal is quick burst trades or all-ins only.
Wave Control
- You should freeze the wave near your tower to force Heimerdinger to overextend for farm, making him vulnerable to jungle ganks and your all-in potential.
- Avoid pushing into his turret setup as this gives him maximum zone control and makes you vulnerable to poke.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Never fight in his turret nest or try to clear his turrets with basic attacks as this wastes time and health while he freely damages you.
- Don't use your mobility spells carelessly for farm or poke - you need them available to engage or escape his E-W combo.
