Who Wins

  • You lose pre-6 due to range disadvantage and lack of gap close against Caitlyn's 650 range plus Lux poke.
  • Post-6 you gain kill potential with R but still struggle as they can kite backwards and Lux R provides too much burst for extended fights.

Synergy & Trading

  • Wait for Pyke Q hook or W engage to commit with E-W-Q combo, using your mobility to follow up on his initiation.
  • Save third Q cast for gap closing after initial engage, then R for execute damage when enemies are low.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • Let wave push to you early to avoid constant poke, only last-hitting and looking for Pyke engage opportunities.
  • Once you have items and levels, look to freeze near your tower to force them to overextend for CS.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Don't try to solo engage without Pyke setup as Lux Q will stop your combo and Caitlyn will kite you to death.
  • Avoid trading when you have low Q stacks as you lack the mobility to disengage from their superior range.
