Who Wins
- You win pre-6 through levels 1-3 with your superior base damage and fury-empowered trades, but Vladimir scales better into post-6 where his R + Q sustain and pool safety make extended fights difficult.
- Post-6 becomes skill-dependent as Vladimir's R amplifies his damage significantly while your all-in potential remains strong but more predictable.
How to Trade
- Your optimal trading pattern is E-in when Vladimir uses Q on minions, then W-auto-Q-auto-E out before he can retaliate effectively.
- Always try to build fury beforehand and use empowered W for the longer stun duration, as this maximizes your damage window while minimizing his ability to trade back.
Wave Control
- Push early levels to build fury on minions and deny Vladimir's Q sustain, then look to freeze near your tower once you establish a health advantage.
- This forces Vladimir to overextend for CS while keeping the wave in your optimal trading zone where you can run him down with E.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Never use your E aggressively when Vladimir has W available unless you can guarantee a kill, as he will simply pool your engage and you'll be stuck in a bad position.
- Don't let Vladimir freely Q you while you're low on fury, as his sustain will gradually win the attrition war if you can't force meaningful trades.
