Who Wins
- Pre-6 you win this matchup decisively — Vex has no mobility, no sustain, and your E-W-Q-E combo at level 3 deals massive burst damage before she can reposition or stack her W passive.
- Post-6, the matchup becomes more dangerous because her R gives her a reliable kill threat if she lands her Q slow into R, but you still win extended trades if you engage on her terms rather than walking into her poke.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to dash in with E, immediately W to interrupt her W passive shield, then Q for healing, and dash back out — this denies her the safety of her W and forces her to take the full trade at a disadvantage.
- Never trade when she has her W passive fully stacked (the grey mist visual), as it will absorb your W stun and significantly reduce your damage window.
Wave Control
- You want to shove the wave early to deny her safe farming under poke pressure, then reset and look for all-ins when she's forced to walk up to last-hit.
- Vex struggles to clear waves quickly early, so a pushed wave forces her into uncomfortable positions where your all-in range advantage matters more than her poke range.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not walk up to trade when you are low on Fury and she has her W passive ready — without your empowered W stun, you lose the trade pattern entirely and she can freely poke you back.
- Avoid standing still in her Q slow, as it sets up her R kill combo and removes your ability to dash out of danger.
