Who Wins
- You win pre-6 through levels 1-3 with your superior base stats and Q sustain, but Kennen's range advantage becomes problematic as he scales his abilities.
- Post-6, you still win all-ins if you can gap close, but Kennen's R gives him strong disengage and teamfight setup that makes extended trades risky.
How to Trade
- Your optimal trading pattern is E-in when Kennen uses Q or steps up for CS, then W-auto-Q-E out to minimize his retaliation window.
- You must use your fury bar efficiently - enter trades with 50+ fury for empowered W stun, then build fury during the trade for empowered Q healing.
Wave Control
- Push early levels to establish minion advantage and deny Kennen's poke windows, then look to freeze near your tower once he gains levels.
- You want to create long lanes where you can run him down with E, as short lanes favor his kiting and escape potential.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Never chase Kennen through multiple minion waves or into unwarded areas where his R can set up ganks.
- Don't waste your E dash to engage when he has his E available, as he'll simply dash away and leave you overextended without your gap closer.
