Who Wins
- You win pre-6 through superior early game damage and sustain, especially at level 2-3 when you can combo E-W-Q-E for significant damage while Irelia lacks her full kit.
- Post-6 you still have the advantage in short trades, but extended fights become more dangerous as Irelia's R gives her sustain and damage to match yours.
How to Trade
- Your optimal trading pattern is E in, W for the stun, Q for damage and healing, then E out before Irelia can retaliate with her full combo.
- Always try to have 50+ fury before engaging to maximize your W stun duration and Q healing, making your trades much more effective.
Wave Control
- Push early levels to establish lane priority and deny Irelia farm, as she struggles to last hit under tower without her Q resets.
- After level 6, be more careful with wave positioning since Irelia can use minions for Q mobility and all-in potential.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't waste your E dash aggressively without fury built up, as Irelia can punish you heavily if you're stuck in melee range without your empowered abilities.
- Avoid fighting in large minion waves post-6 where Irelia can use Q resets and passive stacks to turn the fight around.
