LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you win most extended trades due to your superior range, mobility from E, and the blind on Q negating Veigar's auto-attack damage during trades; post-6, your R gives you a reset tool and roaming power, but Veigar's R becomes an instant-kill threat if he has enough stacks, so the 1v1 advantage shifts toward him in prolonged fights after level 6.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to E onto Veigar to proc the mark, auto him, then immediately disengage before he can land Q or set up W; never stand still long enough for him to cage you with W, as being trapped inside it while he has R available is almost certainly lethal.
Wave Control
- You want to push the wave consistently to deny Veigar passive stacks from CS and force him to farm under tower, where his Q waveclear is slow and he is vulnerable to your all-in; however, avoid shoving so hard that you lose track of his W placement, as he can cage you against your own minion wave.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not underestimate his W cage as a setup tool — getting caught inside it even once with his R available at level 6+ is likely a death, so always track its cooldown and position to have an escape angle before engaging.
