How to Trade

  • Your optimal trading pattern is auto-Q-auto when Riven tries to CS, then immediately E away if she attempts to engage on you.
  • Use your range advantage to harass consistently while maintaining distance, and never let her get a free engage without using your E to create space.

Wave Control

  • You want to maintain a freeze or slow push to keep the wave in a position where you can harass safely while having escape routes available.
  • Hard pushing is risky against Riven's gank setup potential, and you want to avoid being in positions where she can run you down the lane.
