Who Wins
- You dominate levels 1-3 with your range advantage and can freely harass while CSing.
- At level 6, you maintain your advantage but must respect Malphite's all-in potential with his ultimate engage.
How to Trade
- Auto-attack him whenever he goes for CS, then immediately back away to avoid retaliation.
- Use your vault defensively when he tries to engage with Q, and continue kiting with your passive and W movement speed.
Wave Control
- Keep the wave in the middle or slightly pushed to maintain your harassment zone.
- Avoid hard shoving unless you can recall, as Malphite becomes more dangerous when you're overextended.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Never vault aggressively onto Malphite unless you're certain you can kill him, as this gives him a free engage opportunity.
- Don't get too comfortable with your range advantage and forget to ward, as jungle ganks can easily turn the matchup around.
