Who Wins
- You dominate pre-6 with superior range, Q blind shutting down his auto-attacks, and E for disengage when he Qs onto you.
- Post-6 becomes dangerous as his R+Q gap close can burst you if you're not positioned carefully near escape routes.
How to Trade
- Harass with autos and Q when he goes for CS, then immediately E away when he Qs onto you to minimize his damage window.
- Use W movement speed to maintain optimal spacing and continue poking while his abilities are on cooldown.
Wave Control
- Maintain a slow push or freeze near your side of the lane to deny him farm while keeping escape routes open.
- Avoid hard shoving unless you can recall safely, as overextending makes you vulnerable to his post-6 all-in potential.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't waste Q on minions when Jax is in Q range, as you'll be vulnerable to his engage without your blind available.
