Who Wins
- You win pre-6 trades through superior burst and mobility, especially at level 3 when you have full combo access.
- Post-6 becomes more skill-dependent as Yone's R gives him engage potential that can match your assassination threat.
How to Trade
- Look for short trades using E-Q-W-Q combos when Yone uses Q stacks on minions, then immediately disengage with your mobility.
- Extended trades favor Yone due to his sustained damage and shield from W, so keep engagements brief.
Wave Control
- Push early levels to establish priority and roam timing, but be cautious of overextending without vision since Yone can run you down with Q3-E combo.
- After level 6, maintain side lane control to enable flanking opportunities with R.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't waste your E mobility tool for waveclear or poke - you need it to escape Yone's all-in potential once he hits Q3 or uses R.
- Getting caught without E against a competent Yone often results in death due to his chase potential.
