- At level 6, you lose if Maokai lands W as his ultimate provides too much lockdown for your team to handle.
Synergy & Trading
- Look for hook angles from brushes or after Maokai uses abilities, then immediately E stun the same target for maximum CC duration.
- Use your stealth to reposition for better hook angles after initial trades.
Wave Control/Roaming
- You should roam frequently after level 6 as your ultimate provides strong gank potential and Jhin can farm safely.
- Optimal roam timings are when the wave is pushing toward your tower or after successful recalls.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Never hook Maokai when he has W available as he will immediately engage onto Jhin during your animation lock.
- Avoid using E aggressively without escape plan as Caitlyn's traps can lock you down for extended punishment.
