Who Wins
- You lose pre-6 2v2s because Nautilus out-trades you in extended fights and Ezreal kites effectively, but win post-6 when Varus R enables your E-Q combo.
- Level 2 is crucial - if you hit it first, you can potentially force favorable trades with E-Q.
Synergy & Trading
- Look for E opportunities when enemies position near walls, following up with Q and passive auto-attack.
- Use W to block Ezreal's E escape attempts during all-ins, then continue chasing with Q slow to maximize Varus's damage window.
Wave Control/Roaming
- Roam mid or jungle when the wave is pushing toward enemies and Varus is safe to farm.
- Optimal timings are after successful recalls when enemies are low or when your jungler is invading, as your W and E provide excellent gank setup.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't use E aggressively without confirming Nautilus's hook is on cooldown, as he'll counter-engage immediately.
