Who Wins

  • You win pre-6 through superior range and poke with Q, especially strong at levels 1-2 before Jax gets E.
  • Post-6 Jax becomes significantly stronger in extended trades due to R passive and E negating your damage.

How to Trade

  • Poke with Q whenever possible, then look for W-AA-Q combos when Jax uses E defensively or it's on cooldown.
  • Always disengage immediately after your combo since Jax wins extended trades.

Wave Control

  • Push early levels to establish lane priority and deny Jax farm, but transition to freezing near your tower once he hits 6.
  • This forces him to overextend for CS while keeping you safe from his all-ins.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Never commit to extended trades post-6, especially when his E is available to block your damage.
  • Don't waste your W engage when his E is up as he'll just stun you and win the trade.
