Who Wins
- You lose most pre-6 trades due to Renekton's superior early damage and gap closing, but can survive through W Unstoppable to avoid his stun combos.
- Post-6 you become much stronger with R for disengage and engage potential, making extended fights more favorable especially with jungle assistance.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to land W Brittle at maximum range, then immediately E forward to proc the Brittle damage and knockup while he's slowed.
- Use Q pillar placement to zone him or create additional E knockup opportunities, and save W Unstoppable to counter his engage attempts.
Wave Control
- Focus on safe farming and using Q to last hit from range while avoiding his E engage range early game.
- After level 6, look for opportunities to set up ganks with R while maintaining good wave position to avoid being dove.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't try to out-trade him in extended early game fights without jungle help, as his sustain and damage output exceed yours pre-6.
