Who Wins

  • Akali wins the 1v1 pre-6 and post-6.
  • Pre-6, she can poke you safely with her Q and reset her passive mark with her E dash, and you have no reliable way to punish her mobility with your slow kit; post-6, her R gives her two dashes that let her dodge your E charge and disengage from your W before Brittle applies, making your full combo nearly impossible to land without her making a mistake.

How to Trade

  • Your best trade pattern is to bait her into your W range by walking up, then immediately cast W to apply Brittle and use E to charge into her — but this only works if she is not near her shroud, as she will simply E out and deny the knockup proc entirely.
  • If she steps into your W without her E available, the W-into-E combo deals significant damage and the Brittle proc punishes her hard.

Wave Control

  • Push the wave consistently with your Q and W to deny her the ability to freely roam and to force her to fight you in a lane state where you have more control.
  • Akali thrives in slow, drawn-out skirmishes and roam windows, so keeping the wave near her tower limits her options and forces her to either fight you on your terms or lose CS.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not walk into her shroud to try to land your E, as she can simply wait for your charge animation and sidestep or E away, leaving you having wasted your only gap-closer and knockup tool.
  • Respect her shroud as a hard reset on your trade pattern — if she enters it, disengage and reset rather than committing.
