Who Wins
- You win levels 1-3 due to superior range and consistent damage with Q-W poke while Zed lacks gap closers.
- At level 6, Zed becomes the 1v1 winner as Death Mark provides lethal all-in potential that your ultimate cannot reliably counter.
How to Trade
- Your optimal trading pattern involves positioning your ball aggressively with Q, then using W when Zed steps up for CS to chunk him safely.
- Always auto-attack after abilities when possible, but immediately retreat to avoid his W-E-Q combo retaliation.
Wave Control
- You should maintain a slow push early to build minion advantage, then hard shove before recalls to deny Zed roaming opportunities.
- After level 6, keep waves closer to your tower to limit his all-in angles while maintaining CS with Q.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Never use your ultimate defensively against Death Mark unless you're guaranteed to hit Zed, as wasting it leaves you completely vulnerable.
- Avoid face-checking bushes or river without vision, as Zed's mobility allows him to set up picks you cannot escape.
