Who Wins
- You dominate early trades pre-6 with superior base damages, W sustain, and Q poke, forcing Yasuo to play defensively.
- Post-6 you lose all-ins if Yasuo has tornado ready and can R your damage, but you can still win if you land Q to prevent his mobility.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is Q poke followed by running him down with W active when he's slowed, using autos and additional Qs while he's forced to E away.
- Focus on short, frequent trades rather than extended fights where his DPS scaling becomes problematic.
Wave Control
- You want to create short lanes by hard pushing waves, then using your superior early game strength to zone him from CS or force unfavorable trades.
- Avoid letting the wave freeze near his tower where he can safely farm and scale.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't chase Yasuo through large minion waves where he can E infinitely to escape, and avoid fighting him when you're low on health as his R execute damage becomes lethal.
- Never waste your R defensively unless it's to escape a gank, as you need it to stick to him in crucial fights.
