Who Wins

  • You win most trades pre-6 through sustained combat with W healing and your passive attack speed scaling as you take damage.
  • Post-6, you can still win all-ins if healthy, but must respect Riven's burst potential when you're below 60% HP as her full combo can 100-0 you.

How to Trade

  • Your best trading pattern is landing Q to slow her, then running her down with W active for the healing and attack speed boost.
  • Focus on extended trades where your sustain advantage becomes apparent rather than quick poke exchanges.

Wave Control

  • You want to establish early wave control and look for freeze opportunities where you can zone her with Q spam while she's forced to walk up.
  • Push for level advantages when possible as your combat stats scale better with levels early.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Don't waste mana on Q poke when the wave is in a bad position for you to follow up with extended trades.
