Who Wins

  • You dominate early 1v1s levels 1-3 with Q spam and superior base damages, forcing Gnar to play defensively.
  • At level 6, you lose if Gnar manages Mega form well and can kite your R engage, but win if you catch him in Mini form.

How to Trade

  • Your best trading pattern is landing Q to slow, then running him down with W active for lifesteal and attack speed.
  • Chain multiple Qs while chasing to maintain the slow and maximize damage before he can escape with E.

Wave Control

  • You want to maintain the wave in the center or closer to your side to create longer chase distances when engaging.
  • Hard shove only when you can dive or when Gnar is in Mini form without escape tools available.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Never waste R when Gnar is in Mega form with full CC available, as you'll get kited and chunked for free.
  • Avoid fighting when low on health without W available, as Gnar's poke damage can finish you before you can lifesteal back up.
