Who Wins
- You win early trades with Q poke and can control the lane pre-6, but lose all-ins post-6 once Yone gets R unless you land E root to interrupt his engage.
- Your window to dominate is levels 1-5 where your range and burst combo gives you clear advantages.
How to Trade
- Your optimal trading pattern is Q poke when he goes for CS, then if he E's forward, immediately E backwards to root him during his dash and follow with W-Q combo.
- Never let him get free Q3 stacks on minions without punishing him with Q harassment.
Wave Control
- Maintain slow pushes to keep minions between you and his engage angles, making his E-Q3 combo harder to land cleanly.
- Avoid hard shoving unless you have vision, as you're vulnerable to ganks and his roam potential increases with priority.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't waste E root on his W shield or when he has E2 snap-back available, as he can easily avoid the follow-up damage.
- Avoid face-checking bushes or extended trades post-6 without your E available, as his R can easily turn favorable trades into your death.
