- You win pre-6 through superior range and wave control, as your Q allows safe farming and poke while Ekko must commit to melee range for CS.
- Post-6 the matchup shifts heavily in Ekko's favor since his R gives him safety to all-in through your E root, and his burst combo can kill you before you can react.
How to Trade
- Your optimal trading pattern involves using Q on the wave to both clear and poke simultaneously, then following up with E-empowered auto attacks when he steps up for CS.
- Never commit to extended trades as his passive proc and W shield will out-sustain your damage over time.
Wave Control
- You should maintain a slow push early to build minion advantages for your Q bounces, then look to crash and recall before level 6.
- After 6, keep waves in neutral positions to avoid being dove, as pushing becomes extremely dangerous against his all-in potential.
Mistakes to Avoid
