Who Wins
- You lose pre-6 due to Seraphine's range advantage and Kalista's mobility making your Q difficult to land consistently.
- Post-6 you gain some kill pressure with R, but their combined mobility and Seraphine's R make successful engages challenging.
Synergy & Trading
- Only engage with Q when you can guarantee follow-up damage from Smolder or when enemies are overextended past your minion wave.
- Use W-E combo after landing Q to maximize CC duration, as your burst window is limited against their mobility.
Wave Control/Roaming
- Roam when Smolder can safely farm under tower and enemies are pushed up, typically after successful recalls or when your ADC has wave control.
- Look for mid lane ganks around level 6 when your R provides guaranteed CC for your team.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't waste Q on minions when enemies are in range to punish, as the cooldown leaves you vulnerable to their poke and aggression.
- Avoid engaging without proper vision or jungle backup, since Kalista can easily kite backwards while Seraphine provides sustain and damage.
