Who Wins

  • Pre-6, you win this lane because your Q hook into passive root chain gives you a reliable engage that Tahm Kench cannot fully absorb for Miss Fortune if you target her directly; your level 2 spike is the most dangerous point in the lane — hooking Miss Fortune at level 2 before Tahm Kench has his W fully online is a kill opportunity.
  • Post-6, your R into Q chain is nearly an instant kill setup on Miss Fortune if Senna follows with her W root.

Synergy & Trading

  • Your best pattern is to hook Miss Fortune when she steps up to CS or trade, then immediately auto-attack to proc your passive root, allowing Senna to W root her for a full damage window; do not hook Tahm Kench, as he is too tanky and your hook cooldown is too long to waste on a non-kill target.
  • After the hook lands, position between Miss Fortune and her tower to cut off her escape route.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • You should roam post-6 when the wave is pushed into the enemy tower and Miss Fortune is low or recalled, as your R plus mid-lane follow-up creates easy kills; the optimal roam timing is after a successful level 6 all-in that forces a flash or summoner spell from the bot lane, leaving mid lane vulnerable to a one-rotation kill.
  • Do not roam when the wave is bouncing back toward your tower, as it leaves Senna in a 1v2 with no escape.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not use your Q hook from maximum range when Tahm Kench is positioned between you and Miss Fortune — he will W swallow her mid-flight and your hook will land on him, wasting your primary engage tool.
  • Avoid standing still after your hook lands, as Miss Fortune's E passive double-hit combined with Tahm Kench's Q slow will chunk you significantly if you do not immediately move to proc your passive and back off.
