Who Wins
- You win level 2 through Q hook setup and Jhin's burst follow-up, but lose level 6 when Ashe+Braum outrange your engage tools.
- Your hook becomes less effective post-6 as Braum can block it and Ashe can counter-engage from longer range.
Synergy & Trading
- Lead trades with Q hooks when Braum's E is on cooldown, then follow up with passive auto and E for maximum CC duration.
- Use W before engaging to absorb Ashe's poke damage and ensure you survive long enough for Jhin to follow up with damage.
Wave Control/Roaming
- Roam when Jhin has wave control and the enemy is pushed up, typically after successful trades or when your ADC recalls.
- Look for roam timings around level 4-5 before Ashe gets her ultimate, as your gank setup becomes less reliable once she has global presence.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't hook through minions against Braum, as his E will block it and waste your primary engage tool.
- Never engage without your W shield active, as Ashe's sustained damage and slows will kite you to death if you can't survive the initial exchange.
