Who Wins
- Pre-6: You win through hook threat and superior all-in potential, forcing the enemy duo into defensive positioning.
- Post-6: You maintain advantage with R providing guaranteed lockdown that Caitlyn can follow up on, while your tankiness negates most of their poke.
Synergy & Trading
- Look for hook angles when enemies are CSing or when they're positioned aggressively for trades.
- Follow successful hooks with W-auto-E combo, then use passive to lock down the second target while Caitlyn follows up with damage.
Wave Control/Roaming
- Roam after successful recalls or when you've established lane dominance through successful trades.
- Best roam timings are when Caitlyn can safely farm alone and mid lane has gankable positioning around levels 4-6.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't hook through multiple minions unless you're certain of the angle - Varus can easily sidestep and punish your cooldown.
- Avoid using W defensively against poke - save it for all-ins where the shield and damage are most effective.
