Who Wins
- You lose most early trades due to Skarner's superior base damage and CC on every ability, but his mana costs are high.
- Post-6 you can start winning if you've stacked enough Q damage and use R to survive his burst combo, then run him down with your enhanced stats.
How to Trade
- Take short trades with Q when his abilities are on cooldown, then immediately back off using W slow if he tries to extend.
- Never commit to extended fights early since his passive stacks and empowered autos will outdamage you without significant Q stacks.
Wave Control
- Focus on farming safely under tower and only contest CS you can safely take with Q.
- Let him push into you naturally since fighting for wave control early will result in taking too much damage and falling behind.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't greed for stacks when Skarner has his full combo available, as his E-W-Q combo can chunk you heavily and set up ganks.
