LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, Gragas wins every extended trade with his W damage reduction, E engage, and Q poke — you have no reliable way to fight back and must accept that you lose most 1v1 exchanges until 6; post-6, your R gives you enough bulk and slow to survive and potentially win if you've stacked enough Q, but Gragas can still disengage with E and reset the fight on his terms.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to absorb a Gragas combo, wait for his W to expire, then walk up to Q him when his damage reduction is down — never fight him while W is active, as it dramatically reduces your already-limited damage output.
Wave Control
- Push the wave hard early to force Gragas to farm under tower, which disrupts his E-Q poke pattern and lets you stack Q more safely on a frozen or slow-pushed wave; if he shoves back, stack under your own tower and accept a defensive farm game rather than fighting for lane priority.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not try to all-in Gragas without your R active — his E knockback will interrupt your Q stacking window and reset the fight to his advantage, and chasing him without R's slow means he simply walks away or re-engages on his own terms.
