Who Wins

  • Pre-6, you do not win the 2v2 cleanly — Tristana's level 2 E lets her jump onto you specifically as the squishier target, and your Q is a skillshot that Tristana can dodge with her jump, making your peel unreliable in reactive situations.
  • Post-6, Amumu's R changes everything: if you land your Q on either enemy right before or after Amumu's R, the chain CC duration is long enough for Miss Fortune to deal full R damage.

Synergy & Trading

  • Your best trading pattern is to apply E on Miss Fortune before she trades, then use W to heal her after she takes poke damage — this sustain loop makes short trades very favorable.
  • Use Q proactively to zone Tristana away from the wave rather than reactively, since landing it on a mobile target mid-jump is inconsistent.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • You should roam, but only after shoving the wave with Miss Fortune and confirming the wave will crash — your W heal and E buff make you valuable in skirmishes, and mid-lane roams with Amumu can snowball the game.
  • Avoid roaming when Tristana has her R available, as she can tower dive Miss Fortune with Amumu absent.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not waste your Q trying to hit Tristana while she is airborne from her own E — the hitbox timing is unreliable and missing your only hard CC in a critical moment will lose you the trade or the all-in.
  • Save Q for when Tristana lands or is walking predictably.
