Who Wins
- You lose pre-6 trades due to Xerath's range advantage and your lack of gap closers, but you can survive by using minions as shields.
- Post-6 you become the 1v1 winner as R gives you the mobility to close gaps and your burst combo can kill him through his range advantage.
How to Trade
- Look for short Q trades when he uses abilities on minions, then immediately back off to avoid his Q return.
- After 6, use R to engage when his E is down - your full combo with packmates can 100-0 him if you land everything.
Wave Control
- Let him push early levels and focus on CSing safely under tower while avoiding poke.
- After 6, look to freeze waves near your tower to set up all-in opportunities when he overextends for poke.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't waste R on trades you can't finish - his range means he can kite you even with ultimate if you don't commit fully.
- Avoid fighting in open areas where he can easily land E stuns and kite backwards with his superior range.
