LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6 you have a meaningful window early because your Q poke and pack pressure can chip Aatrox before he has R sustain, but Aatrox wins extended trades at level 3 once he has his full Q rotation with E repositioning — keep trades short and punish his Q whiffs immediately.
- Post-6 Aatrox wins decisively in a straight fight because his R grants massive healing, AD, and movement speed while your R only provides a repositioning dash and execute threat, which is not enough to overcome his sustained damage output.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to bait out one of his Q stages, dash in with your own Q to proc your passive dogs, land your W to root him, burst with E and auto-resets, then immediately disengage before he can complete his next Q rotation.
- Never commit to a full trade unless he has already used at least two Q charges, because his third Q sweet spot knockup into E repositioning will flip the trade entirely against you.
Wave Control
- You want to shove the wave fast using Q and dog pressure to force Aatrox under tower, then roam mid or take jungle camps — your roaming threat is significantly stronger than his and you generate more map value than you do by sitting in a losing side lane.
- Avoid freezing or slow-pushing into him because a long wave near your tower gives him a safe environment to land W into Q combos without fear of overextension punishment.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not try to all-in Aatrox at full health post-6 thinking your R execute will save you — his R healing and AD steroid will outlast your burst window and he will kill you during his enhanced state.
- Avoid standing still to trade autos because his passive empowered attack deals significant max HP damage and his E omnivamp means every hit he lands sustains him further into the fight.
